Letter From Michael DeJospeh – Babylon Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Health
Babylon Community,
As I begin my second year as the Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Health at Babylon, I am excited for a new school year and athletic experience. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this community and school district. I look forward to continuing the level of excellence established by our programs and upholding the rich tradition we have enjoyed for decades. I am thankful to all the board members, administrators, teachers and coaches who have helped me through year one. The guidance and support I have received from the community has been overwhelming and my time in district has made me believe in a Babylon way. It is my personal philosophy to “do what is best for our kids” in education and athletics and I intend to pursue and preach this goal with students, teachers, coaches, parents and Boosters.
I have committed my resources to the Babylon Boosters and look forward to working with this group. We have a new administrative group running the Babylon Boosters and I am impressed by their dedication and ideas for the future. The Babylon Boosters and I have identified several projects we would like to pursue and would love to have more community involvement. I encourage anyone with the intention of having a positive influence and a genuine interest in helping our coaches and programs to join today and become a BOOSTER.
