- 1957-1958 - Varsity Football - Undefeated Suffolk County Champions - Wall of Fame Inductee 2002
The 1958 Babylon Panthers Football Team was undefeated (7-0) and the top team in their division. Coached by Bob Cox, the team outscored the opposition 148-32 beating Brentwood 27-2, Half Hollow Hills 19-0, Hauppauge 14-6, Harborfields 13-6, Copiague 20-0, Central Islip 27-6 and Selden 28-12.
Team members include Joe Campagnola (Class of 1960), who played three seasons and made All League in ’59. Joe served in the Army and later married Susan and had three children. He began a cesspool business and now resides in Bay Shore.
Bob Cognato (Class of ’60) also married and had three children. He works in maintenance in the Deer Park School District where he now lives.
Bob Corcoran (Class of ’60) played three sports and was the sophomore class president. He was All county basketball two years. Bob went to Ithaca where he played football and basketball and was on the wrestling team and earned a BS in Phys Ed. He then earned an MA at Adelphi and an SAS from Hofstra. He taught and was the head football coach at Uniondale HS. He and wife Dawn now live in Port St. Lucie, FL and have three children and two grandchildren.
Ron Frole (Class of ’60) was a four sport athlete. He earned a degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Farmingdale and attended the University of Miami. He and wife Lorraine have three children and one grandchild. He now lives in Lindenhurst and has been a Suffolk County police officer for 22 years.
Bob Hochheiser (Class of ’60) was a three sport athlete winning twelve letters. He became a financial consultant and a horse breeder. He and Christina raised five children and now have four grandchildren. They live in Winter Springs, FL.
Lee Mairs (Class of ’60) played football at BHS for four years and golf for a year. He was in the National Honor Society for four years and made the all state band. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Business from the University of New Mexico and the University of Rochester. Lee now resides in Romney, WV and is a retired Navy Commander and was a director of a research firm. He has one son.
Frank Registrato played football and was a wrestler for BHS. After high school, he went into the US Army. He is a retired construction supervisor. Frank now resides in Homasassa, FL. He is the father of three children and has three grandchildren.
- Harry Babe Suddueth - All-County Basetball - Wall of Fame Inductee 2002
Harry "Babe" Suddueth (Class of ’48) was a basketball and baseball star. The late Mr. Suddueth played basketball from 1946 through 1948 and was selected to Newsday’s Western all-scholastic team in 1947 and 1948 when he finished second in scoring both years.
Babe played varsity baseball in his junior and senior years when BHS won the Suffolk County championships both seasons. He batted .500 in 1948. In addition, he served on the Student Council as a junior. He is a charter member of the BHS Wall of Fame, having been inducted in 1990 as part of the 1947 BHS championship baseball team. This year, he is being inducted as an individual. Babe retired from the Suffolk County Police Department. His son and daughter are Long Island residents.
- Kathy Powers Desilva - All-County Field Hockey - Wall of Fame Inductee 2002
Kathy Powers DeSilva (Class of ’87) was a star in field hockey, basketball and softball. She was a key to the school’s field hockey success for four years as the team won championships in 1984-85 and ‘86-87. She was awarded all-league honors in 1984 and ’85 and was all-county in 1986. She played basketball and softball in 1986 and 1987 and made the all-league softball team in her senior year.
In college, she received a BS in Accounting at Ithaca College and a JD in Law at Touro College. Kathy was admitted to the Bar in 1995.
At Ithaca, she starred in field hockey for four years, winning a number of awards and was selected the Defensive MVP in 1990, the year her team won the State Championship. She was the team co-captain in 1989 and ’90.
In college, she received a BS in Accounting at Ithaca College and a JD in Law at Touro College. Kathy was admitted to the Bar in 1995. She is now a manager in Sales Account Finance at Computer Associates in Islandia. Kathy and husband Rob reside with their two boys, RJ and Luke, in Kings Park.
- Sal Casciola - All-County Football - Wall of Fame Inductee 2002
Sal Casciola (Class of 1974) was a multisport athlete in football and track. As a halfback, Sal was a leading rusher on the 1972 and 1973 league championship football teams. In track, he was a member of the 4X200 relay team which set the school record for the event, a mark that still stands.
He then went on to graduate from C.W. Post where he achieved a BS in Science. While at Post, Sal starred in football for four years. After college, he had a career in public service and served as the Health/Safety Chairman for the New York State Public Employee Federation, representing over 50,000 state professionals. He also served as a basketball official. Sal and his wife Deborah live in Babylon and have two sons, Chris and Jake.
- William Benzing - All-County Football - Wall of Fame Inductee 2010
William Benzing (’52) was a multiple sports athlete at BHS starring in football, baseball and basketball.
Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Long Island, making stops in Baldwin and Roosevelt before his family settled in Babylon to attend the district’s schools in the last seven years before graduating from BHS. In high school, Bill was president of the Leader’s Club. After graduating, he was successful in tryouts with a number of big league baseball clubs.
Following school, Bill went into the bakery business. He continued an active life serving as long term president of the Nassau-Suffolk Bowling Club and the Nassau-Suffolk Bakers Golf Club and as vice president of the Nassau-Suffolk Bakers Association.
He and his wife, Lois Counsellor (BHS, class of 1953), reside in Englewood, Florida. They are the parents of four children and have two grandchildren. Bill currently works at the local golf course and proudly boasts of having shot his age four times.
- Sean McLaughlin - Section XI Champion – Heavyweight - Wall of Fame Inductee 2002
Sean McLaughlin (Class of ’90) was a wrestler and football player. He was the Suffolk County co-champion at 250 pounds and placed fifth in the 1990 New York State Championships. He was selected to the All-County Football Team in 1989. He then was awarded an AA at Nassau CC, a BA at SUNY Buffalo and an MA at Hofstra. In 1993, Sean was a National Junior College All-American wrestler and placed seventh in the nation.
From 1992 through 1998 he was a gold medalist seven times in the Empire State Games and was an All-American six times in free style and Greco Roman wrestling. He is a teacher in the Sayville school district and the head wrestling coach at BHS. Sean and his wife Charlene reside in West Islip.
- 1991 Mens Varisty Soccer - County Champions - Wall of Fame Inductee 2006
The 1991 Babylon Panthers Boys Soccer Team were the Class B-C-D Suffolk County Champions who won the Small Schools title that season under coach Mike Livorno. The Panthers completed the regular season with an 11-5 record. They went on to beat Southampton and Mattituck for the County Class C championship. Then they defeated Eastport for the Small Schools Championship. They fell to Class A Large Schools champion Walt Whitman and went on to play Carle Place in the Long Island Small Schools Final, falling 1-0 in sudden death overtime. The club completed the season with an overall 14-7 record.
The team members were Danny Butler, Doug Cerny, Matt Dolan, Jesse Fawess, Scott Freeman, Keith Graham, Mark Green, Peter Horstmann, Matt Krepil, Mike Lagendyk, Ed Lupo, Tim McDonough, Tom Migliorisi, Bob Neidig, Jeff Pannullo, Jason Rotzman, Keith Sawczyn and Scott Wit. We've been able to track down a few of the players and their families for some of the backgrounds.
Danny Butler (Class of 1994) was a multisport athlete at BHS playing varsity soccer for three seasons and basketball for two. He was All-Academic in Suffolk for soccer. He then went to Notre Dame University for a BS in Business. There he played varsity lacrosse for four years and played in the NCAA tournament three seasons. He has a Masters in Health and Physical Education from Hofstra University. Danny, wife Cara and son Nate now reside in West Islip. He is a teacher at the Grand Avenue Middle School in the Bellmore/Merrick School District where he is the Athletic Coordinator and coaches junior high basketball and lacrosse.
Doug Cerny (Class of 1992) is a graduate of Long Island University with a Bachelors in Business Administration and achieved an Associates Degree in Business at Suffolk Community College where he played soccer for two seasons. Doug resides in Dayton, Ohio where he is a Software Administrator for Reynolds & Reynolds.
Scott Freeman (Valedictorian, Class of 1992) played varsity and JV soccer and tennis for four years at BHS. He was named All-League goalkeeper in the championship season. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Geography. Scott is currently attending medical school at the Downstate University of New York in Brooklyn.
Mark Green (Class of 1992) was a multisport athlete at BHS where he captained the soccer team, making All-County and scoring ten goals in his senior season. He was an All-League wrestler and played lacrosse. He graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a BS in Business Administration. He played on the W&J soccer team four years and was the captain in his junior and senior seasons. He and wife Allison reside in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Mark is a General Manager at HQ Global Real Estate. He ran the New York City marathon in 2003.
Peter Horstmann (Class of 1993) was a multisport varsity athlete at BHS in soccer for four years, lacrosse for four years and wrestling for two. He went on to Alfred University where he played lacrosse for a year and transferred to Hofstra University for a BS in Business Management. Peter and wife Heather will soon be residents of Lindenhurst. He is a consultant at TheStreet.com in New York City.
Michael Lagendyk (Class of 1992) was president of the National Honor Society in his senior year at BHS. In soccer, he was named All-League three years, All-County twice and All-State and All-Eastern USA in his senior season when he led the Panthers with 17 goals. He was also a member of the League VI Tennis championship team in his sophomore year. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Business Administration where he played on the North Atlantic Conference Championship soccer team in 1994 and captained the club in 1995. Michael, wife Kerri and son Brady reside in Meridian, Mississippi where he is the National Accounts Manager for the Van Zyverden Bulb Co. He has competed in five marathons, including four NYCs.
Bob Neidig (Class of 1992) attended the University of Scranton and was awarded a BS in Education. He then achieved an MA in Liberal Studies and an MA in School District Administration at SUNY Stony Brook. Bob and his wife Stacy reside in Medford and have a daughter, Gianna Brooke. He is currently a Social Studies teacher at BHS where he coaches JV Boys basketball and soccer.
Jason Rotzman (Class of 1993) was a three letter athlete in soccer, wrestling and lacrosse in his junior and senior years. In 1993 he won the Lacrosse Award and was named winner of the Walter Williams Award. Jason's premature passing in 1995 due to a vehicle/pedestrian accident was a tragic loss to the Babylon community.

- Barbara Van Bourgondien - All-County MVP Basketball & Volleyball - Wall of Fame Inductee 2006
Barbara Van Bourgondien Degere (class of 1975) starred in field hockey, basketball, volleyball and softball at BHS from 1972 to 1975, winning athletic plaques in each of those sports. In 1974, she was awarded the Suffolk County MVP in basketball and took the County MVP awards the following year in basketball and volleyball when she was named the High School Athlete of the Year by Women In Sports.
Barbara graduated from Springfield College with a BS in Health and Physical Education. She achieved a Masters in Special Education from CW Post and a Masters in School Administration and Supervision from Touro College. She teaches at Northport High School where she coaches basketball and field hockey. She was named 2004 Teacher of the Year for the Suffolk Zone by the New York State Alliance for Health, Phys Ed, Recreation and Dance and was named Section XI basketball coach of the year eight times over the last nine years. Barbara and husband Peter reside in Babylon and have two children, Julie and Peter.
- Joe Delucca - All-County Baseball - Wall of Fame Inductee 2006
Joe DeLucca (class of 1947) was a multisport athlete at BHS, starring in baseball, basketball and football from 1945 to 1948. On the field, he was named AllCounty catcher for 1947 and 1948. In academics, he was named to the National Honor Society in 1947. He graduated from Cortland State with a BS in Education and received an MS in Education from Hofstra University and later attended Queens College.
At Cortland, Joe starred in baseball and soccer before serving in the United States Marine Corps where he played baseball and managed the team at Camp Lejeune. He became a physical education teacher and coach at BHS and West Babylon High School and was named Suffolk baseball coach of the year in 1961. Joe went on to become a major league baseball scout for 34 years (Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians) and was named New York/New England Scout of the Year for 2004.
He was named to the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame in 2000. Joe resides in Babylon with his wife Carol. They have six children (all BHS grads) and five grandchildren. Sons Joe and Jim have preceded him on the BHS Wall of Fame.
- Marilyn Cross - Overall Contribution to Suffolk County Sports - Wall of Fame Inductee
The late Marilyn Cross (class of 1959) was a basketball star at BHS in the 1950s. She achieved a BA at Adelphi and a Masters at NYU before moving on to international success in a number of athletic venues. She was a physical education teacher at North Babylon High School from 1964 to 1996 where she coached gymnastics, tennis, field hockey, volleyball and swimming. She became an athletic official for gymnastics, field hockey and girls lacrosse.
In gymnastics, Marilyn rose through the ranks in New York State through the northeast region and nationally as a judge and technical director and served on the 2000 Olympic Selection Committee. She was an Olympic delegate for the 1984, 1992, 1996 and 2000 games. Marilyn was awarded the Elite Coaches National Association Judge of the Year for 1993 and 2001 and was elected to the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame in 1992 and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2003.
The Section XI Girls Coaches have created the Spirit of Flame Award in her honor. Each year, it is presented to the gymnast who showed the best flair and artistry in Suffolk County. Marilyn passed away on October 14, 2003.
- Tim Schweitzer - All-County Baseball - Wall of Fame Inductee 2006
Tim Schweitzer (class of 1981) starred in baseball, basketball and football at BHS from 1977 to 1981. In a high school athletic career marred by a number of debilitating injuries, he excelled when on the field. As a freshman, he caught every varsity game. The following year, he suffered a football injury and was the victim of a car accident which put a damper on his varsity activity. He did play JV basketball where he was the team's leading scorer and rebounder. In senior year, he was a team captain and played the entire football season as a tackle, linebacker and place kicker and was named All-League by the coaches and second team All-County by the Daily News.
In baseball, he was named to the All-County team as a catcher and pitcher while leading the team in batting and won the Ray Barbuti Award from the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference for outstanding courage and sportsmanship as a high school senior. Tim attended the United States Coast Guard Academy in 1981-82 where he played football and baseball.
In 1983 he played at Hofstra as a linebacker on the Lambert Trophy winning team. Tim achieved a BBA at Hofstra and a JD at Touro Law School. His career is in Admiralty Law. He resides in Babylon with his wife Ginny and five children. The two oldest are now at BHS. Young Tim plays football and lacrosse and runs track. Bryan plays baseball, basketball and football.
- Andrea Labarbara - All-Leauge Field Hockey/League Champion - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Andrea LaBarbara (’92) was a star shortstop for the BHS Softball team for four years at the Varsity level. She was also a forward wing for the Field Hockey League Championship team making All League in the sport.
She attended a number of colleges and achieved a BS in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Her later activities included snow skiing in Vermont and Utah and she has been a competitor in the Mogul. Andrea also enjoys water skiing.
She now resides in Foxboro, Massachusetts and is engaged to Bob Zeolla. Andrea is an airline captain and pilots a 50 passenger Embrear jet for Continental Airlines.
- Craig Barnes - Suffolk County Championship Team - Cross Country - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Craig Barnes (Class of 1988) was a star in Winter and Spring Track who set BHS records in the 300 meter and 400 meter events. His versatility included racing in the 60, 200 and 600, as well as the 4x200 relay, the 4x400 relay and the long jump. He had also been active in the Junior High School Chorus.
Craig then went on to Dowling College where he graduated with a BS in Math. His activities at the time included local chess competitions. He is currently a supervisor with the Postal Service in Bethpage and actively maintains a real estate license.
Craig and his son Evan reside in Central Islip. He is the brother of fellow inductee Troy Barnes.
- Gerry Brown - All-Country Basketball & Baseball - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Gerard Brown (‘43) starred in Baseball, Basketball and Football at BHS from 1941-43. In Baseball, he helped lead the team to two Suffolk County Championships. He pitched three no-hitters and was either the team’s Most Valuable Player or co-MVP in each of his varsity seasons while being named All County each year. In Basketball, Gerard was on the school’s County Championship team in 1941. He won school MVP honors the next two years and set the single season scoring record for BHS in 1943. He was class president in his freshman and sophomore years.
During World War II, Gerry served in the US Merchant Marines in 1943-44 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army serving in England, the Philippines and Japan from 1944-46. He later graduated from St. John’s University with a BBS in 1950. While in college, he starred in Baseball, winning outstanding pitcher honors in the Metropolitan Conference from 1947-49 and performing in the College World Series in Wichita in 1949.
From 1954-91, Gerry’s career was in insurance with the Brown Agency and the Jeremiah Robbins Agency. He is a Trustee Emeritus for Good Samaritan Hospital where he served from 1965-95 and was Chairman of the Board from 1986-88. He and his wife Rita now reside in Lindenhurst. They have four children, seven grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
- Joe Osovet - All-State Football - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Joe Osovet (’91) starred for the football Panthers as a captain, running back and defensive back during the 1988-90 seasons. He was a key to the 1989 League Championship club and was named All Long Island and All State the following season. He’d previously played for the Freshman and JV clubs. He was a second baseman on the baseball teams where he played from the seventh through twelfth grades, competing with the Junior High and the Freshman teams before playing with the Varsity for four years.
Joe received two college degrees, an AA in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College in 1992 and a BA in Physical Education from Northeastern University in 1994. While at Nassau, he was named to the All Coastal Conference football team as a wide receiver and kick returner.
Joe resides in Babylon and is currently an Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the Nassau Community College football team. He is a Teaching Adjunct in the Physical Education Department at the college.
- Melissa Deicco - All-County Cross-Country - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Melissa DeMicco (’92) was the Suffolk County Cross Country Runner of the Year in 1992. A distance runner, her main sports were Cross Country, Winter Track and Spring Track. She excelled in the 1500 meters and competed in the New York State Championships in all four of her high school years. She was the County Champion in her senior year and Conference Champion in 10th grade.
In college, Melissa graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Theater. While there, she ran Cross Country and competed in the 3000 meters. Following graduation, Melissa began a career in film acquisition and distribution in Los Angeles. She has participated in the Virginia Film Festival and the 50th San Francisco International Film Festival.
She now resides in Oakland, California and is working with the National Film Preserve. Her current project is the Telluride Film Festival.
- Miranda Moleski - All American – Pentathlon - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Miranda Moleski (’93) gained All-America honors as a track athlete in the Pentathlon. She excelled in Track and Field while at BHS, competing in many events. She also ran Cross Country, played Varsity Volleyball and competed in Varsity Gymnastics. Miranda was a member of the National Honor Society, the Lion’s Club and Student Government.
While at Rutgers University, she achieved a BA and a Masters in Social Work and a BA in Women’s Studies. She is currently completing a Masters in School District Administration at Stony Brook University. As a college athlete, she was the Metropolitan Area Pentathlon Champion three times and the Heptathlon Champion twice. She was All Big East three times in the High Jump, Heptathlon and Pentathlon.
Careerwise, she serves as a Dean at Western Suffolk BOCES. Miranda and husband Alex have two sons and reside in Rockaway Beach.
- Steve Farley - All-County-Suffolk Basketball - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Steve Farley (’77) was an All Suffolk County strong forward with two BHS basketball championship teams. He starred for three years on the Varsity. He also was a tackle in Football on both sides of the ball for two seasons and played right field for two years in Baseball.
Steve went on to play basketball at Western Maryland College for four years and was team captain for two. He has worked for Toyota Motor Sales for twenty-five years, initially in Long Island and now for Darcars, the Toyota dealership in Silver Springs, Maryland, where he is the General Manager.
He and his wife Jan reside in Taneytown, Maryland, the birthplace of Francis Scott Key. They have three daughters.
- Tim O'Donnell - All-County-Suffolk Football - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Charles “Tim” O’Donnell (’62) was an outstanding lineman at Babylon for six years (two on the Junior High team and one on the Freshman club). He starred on both sides of the ball as a center, guard and tackle on offense and as a linebacker and tackle on defense. Tim was named All County in 1960 when the Panthers were co-champions and in 1961 with the championship team. He also played freshman baseball and basketball at BHS and served as president of the Boys Leaders Club.
Following high school, Tim served with the US Coast Guard from 1962-66. He was a commercial fisherman for most of his life and owned and operated the Megan Betsey out of Shinnecock Inlet.
Now retired, Tim and his wife Patricia reside in Deposit, New York. They have four daughters and six grandchildren.
- Troy Barnes - Suffolk County Championship Team - Cross Country - Wall of Fame Inductee 2008
Troy Barnes (’92) also starred at BHS in Winter Track, Spring Track and Cross Country. He set the school record for the 200 meters (22 seconds flat) and in the 100 meters (11 seconds flat). He also competed in the 4x100 relay. He was a member of the Cross Country League Championship team and was also a running back and defensive back for the Football Panthers. His other activities included the Chorus and the Culture Club at BHS.
In college, he graduated with a BS in Psychology at St. John’s University, where he also ran for the track team in the 400 meters. He now works for the Postal Service.
Troy and his wife Elysia have three children and reside in Tampa, Florida. He and fellow inductee, brother Troy Barnes, ran track on the same BHS team in 1988.
- Christine Accettella - All-County Field Hockey - Wall of Fame Inductee 2010
Christine Accettella (Class of 1990) was a multiple sport scholar athlete on Babylon varsity teams from 1987-1990. She was an All-County goalie in field hockey, All-Conference in softball and was named to the All-Academic basketball team in her senior year. As a goal tender, she was unscored upon in regular season games during her senior year. Her school career included membership in the National Honor Society.
At Old Dominion University, Christine received a BS in Sports Medicine in 1994 and a masters degree in Physical Therapy in 1996. There she was team captain and MVP on the sailing team, receiving All-American honors from the Intercollegiate Sailing Association. She was inducted into the Old Dominion University Sports Hall of Fame in 2009.
Christine is now a Pediatric Physical Therapist in Hampton Roads, Virginia and has served as a United States Sailing Association Umpire. Among her many accomplishments in sailing competition, she has placed fifth in the Newport Bermuda Race.
- Janine Kennedy Nelson - All-County Softball - Wall of Fame Inductee 2010
Janine Kennedy Nelson (’90) starred in varsity tennis for five years and softball for three years. Janine was named captain of both teams. In tennis, she was the #1 singles player in her senior year. She was named All County in softball.
After graduation, she went on to receive a BA in English at SUNY Albany, a Teachers Certification at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Masters of Information and Library Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While at Albany, Janine played tennis for one year. Following her formal education, she became a media specialist.
Janine and her husband Russ reside in Greensboro and have three children.
- Kelly Lipton Xippolitos - All-County Field Hockey - Wall of Fame Inductee 2010
Kelly Lipton Xippolitos (’91) starred in field hockey and volleyball. An All County nominee, she was the leading scorer in field hockey with 29 career goals and 17 assists. In volleyball, she was named All-Conference.
Kelly graduated from SUNY Cortland with a BS in Education and from Hofstra University with an MS in Special Education. Her academic achievements include membership in the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psycholgy, the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and Kappa Delta Phi International Honor Society of Educators.
Kelly and her husband Kristofer reside in West Islip and have two daughters. She has been a first grade teacher in the Massapequa School District for fourteen years.
- Mairead Murphy All-County Field Hockey - Wall of Fame Inductee 2010
Mairead Murphy (’90) was a multiple sports star in field hockey and volleyball. She was the team captain and named All-County in both sports.
At BHS, she served on the Student Council and was named to the National Honor Society.
Mairead graduated from Providence College with a BA in History. Following college, she was an account exec at AT&T’s Business Markets Division serving the Rockefeller Foundation and Carlisle Hotels. Mairead lived in Cork, Ireland for four years and worked for the Carrigaline Court Hotel.
She later developed and owned Triple M Events, a marketing company in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a client base a of number of charities and corporations. She lives in Babylon.

Paul Warren (’71) starred in cross country. He was a member of the 1968 Suffolk Class C Champions and was the individual Suffolk cross country champion in 1969.
He received a BS at SUNY Oswego in 1975 and a Ph.D. from UCLA in 1979. Paul is a research scientist working on meteorites and lunar rocks. Paul has a major accomplishment, the discovery of a martian meteorite and was honored by an asteroid “6226 Paul Warren” being named after him. He has published about 100 scientific articles.
Paul and his wife Bessie reside in LaCanada, California. He no longer runs, but enjoys hiking in California and New Mexico.

Lance Farley (’90) was a basketball and football star at BHS. He scored over 1000 points during a three year varsity basketball career and scored 44 points in a game, breaking his brother Gary’s mark set years earlier. In football, Lance was a wide receiver and corner back.
After high school, Lance played basketball at Iona College. He later went on to become general sales manager at Sunrise Toyota in Oakdale. He has been with the firm for sixteen years.
Lance has a nineteen month old daughter and is still very active in local basketball leagues.
