Wall of Fame Criteria If you have a candidate in mind, please read the qualification and if you would like to submit candidates for our review then print, complete and mail our nomination form to:

Qualifications
The following are the categories into which an individual or team must fall to be considered by the Committee for induction:
- County High School Champion or better (Individual player).
- County High School Selection or better.
- Individual player from a sport in which the player cannot compete as an individual.
- Coach.
- At the discretion of the committee this category may be based upon the most restrictive process used by a County-wide publication or high school athletic organization.
- County High School Championship Team or better.
- Individual County Event Winner or better composed of two or more competitors.
- Undefeated League or Conference (whichever is higher) Championship Team and only in a sport where no higher competition than that is offered.
- Unique Sports Achievement
- Any Long Island, Regional, State, National, or International champion or selectee, or member or selectee of a championship team.
- Any other unique sports achievement not covered by any of the foregoing categories.
***** No team receiving an award shall be placed on the Wall of Fame until a minimum of ten years has elapsed since the accomplishment by that team. No individual receiving this award shall be placed on the Wall of Fame until a minimum of ten years has elapsed since that person’ s class graduates.
